The Mr. Local History Project is proud to announce that the board has accepted The White Manna Hamburger diner stand in Hackensack, New Jersey to be included in the New Jersey Historic Wooden Keepsake collection made by the Cat’s Meow Village of Wooster, Ohio.
The White Manna, founded by Louis P. Bridges from Cordele, Georgia, this would be his 2nd hamburger diner stand. His first stand was in 1937 known as the White Diamond on State & Berry Streets also in Hackensack. His classic $0.10 burgers promotion came 4 in a sack. Today it is Jersey’s #1 rated classic hamburger joint.
