Edit: UPDATE TO THIS VIDEO ON MY PAGE - Go to Part 2 This farm stand has sold fruit and vegetables on this spot for decades. Melick’s has run it since 2005 (it was Bob’s Fruit Stand before that), and the town’s zoning doesn’t allow storage on this lot. The developer needs a variance to do it anyway, and part of the plan turns the site into a retention pond. Bridgewater’s 2025 Master Plan calls for promoting farm markets like this one. Now is an opportunity to live up to it. The Zoning Board votes on the variance July 14th, 7 PM, at 100 Commons Way (Bridgewater Municipal Building).
