BOY IT'S HOT OUT! Remember the Clover Hill Swim Club? Millington's place to be seen - but there was also the Stirling Lake and Mill Hill Swim Club before the Pleasant Valley Pool in nearby Basking Ridge opened to the public. So private swimming was the thing..... lake or pool?

When Clover Hill opened in 1963, suburban New Jersey was booming. Young families were moving into newly built neighborhoods throughout Passaic Township, Bernards Township, and surrounding communities, creating a demand for places where children could safely spend their summers. Clover Hill answered that need in spectacular fashion.
