I still have the helmet dated 1968, but at this point I don’t know which of the three years it was from – probably the last. My best finish was third, I think in the second year. I remember there were a LOT of cars from the Ocean County area, but I was the only kid from Brick Township who was ever in it, even though all my friends loved racing my cars down the small hill on our dead-end street.
