There are lots of Warrens in New Jersey. We are happy to announce that the Mr. Local History Project has started covering the Somerset County township. Going way back to the 1600s, honoring Warren for his service to our country, and the once vast farmlands of the Garden State. Heck we start with the coverage of the history of the Egg-O-Mat! Can’t wait to dig in. What do you think is Warren’s MOST HISTORIC MOMENT?
If you have a story you’d like us to research, please drop us a note. We’ll see you online again soon!
As a kid growing up in Westfield, I always used to say to my mom. “Why mom, why do we have to go OUT THERE? They have chickens in their yard!”
Brooks Betz, Mr. Local History Trustee, does have a lifetime of involvement with Warren.
Check out the interactive map showcasing important historical sites, venues, boundaries, and historic points of interest in Warren Township. Warren is bound by Bridgewater to the west, Bernards Township, Long Hill Stirling and Gillette to the north, Green Brook, Watchung and North Plainfield to the south.
