The Mr. Local History Project is fortunate to have volunteers who continually push the envelope, finding new ways to share local history. New technologies such as AI and Drones have pushed storytelling in new directions, and we love that. We launched our drone program in 2022, and we’ve now had the opportunity to reflect on all the work that has gone into telling history through the power of drone photos and videos. While we’ve had a setback as our drone suffered a catastrophic crash, we’re hoping the public will help us restore this program as we look for donations to secure a new drone (see the end of this post if you can help.)
